I Love Bellaire OHIO

This says it all!

Chamber of Commerce of Bellaire Ohio Pictures.

We will be posting some pictures from the Village of Bellaire in Ohio.

We have a very rich history! And a very bright future!

A Note from our President - June 2011

Bellaire has had many exciting things happen in the last month. We had the dedication of the Bellaire High School Clock Tower Historical Marker which was a great ceremony that was well attended. Thank you to Dan Frizzi and the Bellaire High School Alumni Association for all of your hard work in getting this accomplished. The Clock Tower is not only historical, but a thing of beauty. As soon as the ceremony was over there were Bellaire High School graduates, who were graduating later that day, having their picture taken with the marker. Since then I have seen many people stopping and taking pictures. There was also a Memorial Day Ceremony held in the park. Thank you to all who worked so hard to put this together. It helped to remind us all what this holiday is about and made you really feel proud, not only to be an American, but also to be from Bellaire and to be part of such a nice event. I was approached by a councilman from a neighboring community that came to our ceremony because his community was not having anything. This says a lot and people are noticing the steps we are taking. We just have to keep moving forward.
I would like to send a big thank you out to Dan Frizzi for replacing all of the light bulbs around the fountain in the park, to Nancy Raeder for purchasing flowers bulbs from Oglebay to plant in the park and to Russ Burkhart and his crew for cleaning the park and mowing the grass. The park is truly an asset to this town.
I would also like to thank Karen Titonis and the Senior Center for inviting me to lunch for Senior Citizens’ Day. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the well-deserved award ceremony for Bernice Wade.
I hope to see all of you at our Business After Hours that will be held on June 10 at the Sons of Italy. If you would like to sponsor a Business After Hours please contact the Chamber office.
We have a few upcoming Welcome to Bellaire Ceremonies. Watch your email for details.
As always if you have any problems, ideas or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at 676-4817 or the Chamber office.

Sincerely,
Lou Ann Bennett, President
